Free Workshops for Working and Aspiring Filmmaker

On February 13, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., two free to the public workshops for insights on filmmaking will be held as part of the Love Your Shorts Film Festival.
Both workshops will be held at the Greater Sanford Regional Chamber of Commerce at 400 East 1st Street. The panels will be led by University of Central Florida associate professor of film Lisa Mills. The first workshop will be covering turning your idea into a narrative or documentary film. Learn how to refine scripts, secure locations, cast and crew for your production and micro-budgeting.
The second panel discussion will be focused around once you have a film made, how to get into the festival circuit, social media marketing and distribution for micro-budget independent films.
