Alexandra Simpson's directorial debut No Sleep Till was shot in Atlantic Beach in 2023. It made its way around the festival circuit including a world premiere at the 2024 Venice Film Festival.
It was picked up for distribution by Factory 25 and had its official US release at Metrograph theater on July 18 in New York.
One of the perks of screening at Metrograph is that films may also get released online through their Metrograph at Home program. No Sleep Till is getting the treatment. It is now available to stream.
No Sleep Till is set in a Florida town as a hurricane approaches. Locals prepare to evacuate while a few remain, including a storm chaser, a teenager, and two friends in pursuit of their dream gig. The film stars Jordan Coley, Xavier Brown Sanders, Brynne Hofauer, and Taylor Benton.
The film was written, directed, edited, and produced by Simpson. She grew up in France, but spent summers in Florida, giving her firsthand experience to the dangerous lull of impending storms.
You can catch No Sleep Till on Metrograph at Home. You must be a Metrograph member to watch. Memberships are $5 per month or $50 for the whole year.
