Documentary Soup Wins January Film Slam

The Film Slam winners for January have been announced.  Host Tim Anderson says that only 4 points separated the top 3 vote getters.

First place winner is Soup, a documentary film by Mark Wright, about Daily Bread soup kitchen in Melbourne.  Soup was produced by Erika Galeana.  You can find out more about Mark's work at http://www.mark3films.com.

Second place went to the comedic horror The Cleaver by Pascal Fortin.  It was produced by Corey Beuragard.

Third place was Atheist in a Foxhole.  It was written by Adam Elmhorst, directed by Enrique Mendoza and Kwaku Otchere, and produced by Ed Stork.  Note to the filmmakers:  World War II was no longer being fought in Italy in 1947.
