Encino Man - Outdoor Screening in Winter Park

ENCINO MAN is the next outdoor movie screening in Central Park in Winter Park. When they find a frozen caveman in their back yard, two high school outcasts thaw him and introduce him to modern life while he in turn gets them to actually enjoy life. The rated PG, 88 minute film is directed by Les Mayfield.

Encino Man recently made ripples in the entertainment world again when two of its actors won Academy Awards a mere 30 years later. Brendan Fraser and Ke Huy Quan won Oscars for Best Actor in a Leading Role and Best Actor in a Supporting Role, respectively.

Popcorn flicks is a monthly special program in collaboration with the City of Winter Park and Enzian Theater.  The outdoor screenings are on the lawn, free and open to the public.  ENCINO MAN will screen April 14th and films typically start just after sun down.  You are encouraged to bring a blanket, snacks, and enjoy the open air.
