Miami Jewish Film Festival Opens with Karaoke

The Miami Jewish Film Festival will take place January 12-26, 2023. The opening night film KARAOKE will be January 12 at 7:30p.m. at the Miami Beach Bandshell located at 7275 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida, 33141. The MJFF 2023 will celebrate and honor Israel's 75th birthday with the premiere of KARAOKE.

Nominated for 13 Israeli Academy Awards, Karaoke stars Lior Ashkenazi & Sasson Gabay in a bittersweet comedy about a married, middle-class, suburban couple who are drawn to their new neighbor, a charismatic bachelor from Miami who holds karaoke evenings at his apartment.

The special opening night premiere event will feature director Moshe Rosenthal and actor Sasson Gabay in attendance to introduce the film and participate in a Q&A afterward.

This the 26th annual festival will be hybrid on person and virtual. 70 in theater screenings at seven venues across Greater Miami including Miami Beach, Coral Gables and North Miami.  The online component will have more than 60 films available for streaming and available throughout the country for viewing.
