The St. Augustine Film Festival will take place January 5-11, 2026. This Florida-based film festival will feature two New York based actors as special guests, Morena Baccarin and Ben McKenzie.
Morena Baccarin is an EMMY-nominated actress who is currently a lead in the CBS series SHERIFF COUNTRY. She will be next seen with Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista in Amazon's THE WRECKING CREW and as Gerald Butler's co-lead in GREENLAND:MIGRATION sequel to GREENLAND. She just finished filming The Sorceress in MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE with Jared Leto and Idris Elba. She will also be seen in Edward Burns' new film, MILLERS IN MARRIAGE. Baccarin lives in NY with her husband and two children.
Ben McKenzie moved to NY from Austin to find work as an actor. He revisited his Economics degree in 2025 by creating a documentary based on his New York Times bestselling book, EASY MONEY. The documentary "Everyone is Lying to You for Money" premiered at SXSW London in 2025. He crisscrosses the globe from El Salvador to Austin, London to Miami, and New York to prove that cryptocurrency is not currency at all, but potentially the biggest Ponzi scheme in history. This on-the-ground account of the perfect storm of 2008 Housing Bubble-level irresponsibility and criminal fraud is potentially ten times more devastating than Bernie Madoff. His acting has been on Broadway, a lead in the TV series OC, films like Junebug with Amy Adams and 88 Minutes with Al Pacino.

The official schedule for the St. Augustine film festival has not yet been released. The festival does plan to continue the tradition of having filmmakers present to introduce films and following screenings with Q&A sessions. A limited number of passes went on sale November 3rd and individual tickets went on sale November 17th.
