Stage 32 launched a Production Assistant Master Certification Program, combining online curriculum with in-person workshops hosted in Tampa Bay.
Following a record-breaking year for Tampa Bay-based productions, the program will provide entry-level workers with free education to help them enter the industry.
Twelve filmmakers were selected by community partners including Film Florida, Tampa Bay Community Network, the University of Tampa, the University of South Florida, and Hillsborough Community College to participate in the program. Upon completion of the course, a select number of graduates will be placed on Tampa Bay-based productions and will receive screen credit on IMDb.
