Popcorn Flicks presents Honey, I Shrunk the Kids
(released Friday, August 1, 2025)
By Kimberly Burke

Popcorn Flicks in the Park takes place in Central Park Winter Park. Once a month this outdoor film screening is free, open to the public and presented with open captions. On Thursday, August 14 at 8pm, HONEY I SHRUNK THE KIDS will be the feature presentation.

"Get ready for a grand adventure on a tiny scale! When eccentric inventor Wayne Szalinski (Rick Moranis, Ghostbusters) accidentally shrinks his kids—and the neighbors'—to the size of insects, the real chaos begins. Swept out with the trash, the miniaturized kids must navigate a backyard jungle full of towering blades of grass, dangerous bugs, and unexpected thrills. It's a race against time as they fight their way back home—if they don't get eaten first! Honey, I Shrunk the Kids is a heartwarming and hilarious sci-fi comedy that proves that being small doesn't mean you can't have big fun."

This 1989, 94 minute film is directed by Joe Johnston and is rated PG.
