University of Central Florida Professor Davis Morton has written a book describing the past, present and future of filmmaking in Florida. The book is Motion Picture Paradise: A History of Florida's Film and Television Industry. Professor Morton will be in-person on January 16, 2025 from 6:30pm-8:30pm to give a presentation and sign copies of the book at the Healthy West Orange Heritage and Cultural Center.
