Indie Filmmaking and the Law at Jax Film Fest

Designed for both legal and filmmaking professionals, the seminar will address traditional and alterative ways to finance independent film, securing music licenses and distribution agreements in an ever-changing acquisition environment. The seminar will be held in the stylish JMOMA on Laura Street in the heart of downtown Jacksonville. Coffee, soft drinks and light snacks will be available during the seminar. Wine will be served immediately following the conclusion. Chaired by local entertainment law attorney, Carolyn Herman. Esq., the seminar is supported by the Florida Bar Associations, Holland & Knight LLP, The Florida Coastal School of Law, Johnson Chauhan Law Group and Bedell, Dittmar, Devault, Pillans & Coxe, PA.

Lawyers, law faculty and law students, applying for CLE credits, must to register through the Florida Bar. This forum is included for festival attendees with All-Access and Festival Passes. The cost for anyone wanting to attend this forum without earning any CLE credits is $20.
