Cinema Cafe Premieres Season 2
(released 4/14/2006)

The brand new season of Cinema Café premiered on Monday, April 10th on Vision TV at 9:30 PM. The new episodes feature some of the latest short indie films and videos from Florida, national and international movie makers.

Last season's host Michelle Wargo is back along with a new guest co-host John William Wright. On the first episode of this new season, they share three new films from Central Florida.

First up will be the mock-trailer for Chris McDaniel's "Rebirth of an Amateur Tennis Superstar" starring Matt Watson. In it, local tennis player Champ Wilson must overcome a devastating injury of tennis elbow in order to re-instate his local reputation.

Followed by "6 out of 7" directed by Marc Shapins. It's a romantic comedy about getting the numbers right.

Cinema Café will be capped off by the campy short film "Losing Toby" by UCF film graduate and Orlando director Drew Lindo. It's a love story about a panda and software.

Vision TV may be seen on Brighthouse Cable Channel 98 and Adelphia Cable channel 97 in Orange County, Central Florida or on line at www.orangecountyfl.net/cms/ORANGEMEDIA/otv/default.htm.

Cinema Café is produced, directed, and written by Constantin Traian Preda and is made possible by the generosity of Vision TV and its station manager Bill Suchy and his team.

The official site is www.cinemacafetv.com. There, you can check out the weekly times of each episode. The shows run all month at various different times, so if you miss this one, you can always catch it on another day.
