Holiday Cinema Outdoors

Cinema outdoors is a Florida mainstay. The area's weather is optimal for al fresco film. Visiting relatives and friends during the holiday months will enjoy your localized fun so share your area's benefits with them. Here are a few options for getting your fresh air and film in the coming months:

Uptown Altamonte Cranes Roost Sunset Cinema will happen November 10, 2018 at the Plaza located at 274 Cranes Roost Blvd.  Admission is free and food and beverages will be available for purchase if you do not bring your own.  You are welcome to bring chairs and blankets for this family friendly movie in the park.  Get info for the Incredibles 2 screening here: http://www.altamonte.org/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=129

Old Town in Kissimmee will feature a new film every Sunday night and you are encouraged to  bring food, snacks, or grab some at the Old Town Store for movies at dusk. The list of programmed holiday films includes:

November 11 - Frozen
November 18 - A Christmas Story
November 25 - The Muppet Christmas Carol
December 2 - The Santa Clause
December 9 - The Santa Clause 2
December 16 - The Santa Clause 3
December 23 - Christmas Vacation
December 30 - The Polar Express

Wekiva Island will host the holiday classic The Polar Express on November 30, 2018 on a giant inflatable screen outdoors with popcorn and hot cocoa available for purchase. The screening will be from 8-10 pm. Details here: https://wekivaisland.com/event/outdoor-movie-the-polar-express/

Maitland Middle School Soccer Field 1901 Choctaw Trail will hold a free outdoor Screen on the Green. The film Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle will be the feature. The field will be open November 10 from 6-9 pm for the outdoor movie.
