The SunScreen Film Festival is 4 days of independent film in St Petersburg, Florida. The annual festival boasts over 7,000 attendees and is presented by the St. Petersburg-Clearwater Film Society, a non-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, which is dedicated to educating the public about visual storytelling, enhancing opportunities for filmmakers to develop their craft and art, and increasing the public's awareness and support of filmmaking as a cultural asset.

This year, the festival will be held April 30 - May 3, 2026. They plan to welcome notable guests for 2026 that include, Logan Allen (Actor), Russ Blackwell (Actor/Acting Coach), Christian Blauvelt (Assistant Managing Editor, Digital Engagement Tampa Bay Times), and Demian Castro (Actor).

The Sunscreen Film Festival is held at the Sundial AMC 12 Theaters located at 153 2nd Avenue North in St. Petersburg, Florida. There will be workshops on writing, legal issues for your film, producing, and the film commission sharing how to maximize incentives and more.
