Missionary has Local Premiere / Release to VOD
(released 11/3/2014)

The Central Florida production of Missionary had a local premiere at the Southchase 7 Cinemas on Saturday evening.  Writer/producers Scott Poiley and Bruce Wood were at the screening along with actors J. LaRose (Saw III/IV, Insidious, Cassadaga) and Connor Christie (Army Wives), and producers Michael Finn and  Ralph Clemente.

The thriller was shot in locations around Orlando in November 2012 with the help of local cast and crew including students from the Valencia College Film Program.  Missionary was directed by Anthony DiBlasi, who also teamed up with Poiley and Wood on the film Cassadaga in 2011.  Out of towners starring in the film are Dawn Olivieri (House of Lies), Mitch Ryan (One Tree Hill), and Kip Pardue (Remember the Titans).

Missionary initially screened at the Valencia Film Celebration in March this year.  It currently has a limited theatrical release in 10 cities including Los Angeles, New York, Miami, and Orlando.  It is running at the Southchase Cinemas for this week only until Thursday, November 6th.

Missionary is also available through VOD on Amazon:  http://amzn.to/1yT3Db3
