Florida Surf Film Festival is November 13-15

Florida Surf Film Festival is taking place November 13-15, 2025. The festival celebrates surf culture and global storytelling through documentary film and podcasting. Luke Cederman and John Philbin will be in attendance at this festival.

The opening night Party will be at Beachside Tavern, New Smyrna Beach. This event is free and open to the public. David Scales and Chas Smith from The Grit and Noble Rot Podcasts will interview John Philbin (Turtle from North Shore, Tombstone, and Point Break) and Luke Cederman (Raglan Surf Report on Instagram) live on-stage. There will be an opportunity to meet, ask questions and learn from these two about surf, comedy, and culture. After the podcast, a musical performance by Ian Atkins and One by One will take place. Florida Surf Festival was established in December 2012 and is held at Daytona State College's News-Journal Center (221 North Beach Street Daytona Beach, FL 32114). Until last year, it was held at the Atlantic Center for the Arts.
