Strong Weekend Planned for Florida Film Festival

Special guests for this year's Florida Film Festival include Tippi Hedren, Cary Elwes, and Zoë Bell.

Tippi Hedren is most noted for her role in Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds.  She has worked in film, but mostly television since that role in 1963.  She is also the mother of actress Melanie Griffith.  Tippi will be on hand the evening of Friday, April 12th for the screening of the 1963 classic The Birds.

Zoë Bell is a stunt performer and actress who got her start playing Lucy Lawless' double in Xena Warrior Princess.  She went on to play Uma Thurman's double in the Tarantino Kill Bill films and can be seen in the upcoming movie Oblivion with Tom Cruise.  Zoë will accompany the screening of Death Proof, where she played herself in another Tarantino film, on the afternoon of Saturday, April 13th.

Cary Elwes has been in many roles over the past 3 decades including his breakout role in the comedy The Princess Bride in 1987 and the now horror classic Saw from 2004.  Cary will be attending Sunday Brunch on April 14th along with the screening of The Princess Bride.
