2023 OIF Year-end Gala is taking place December 8th, 6p.m. at Full Sail Live. This annual celebration of Orlando Independent Filmmakers will begin with a Reception to meet your fellow filmmakers, actors and industry professionals with complimentary champagne and Hor d'oeuvres. Greetings and Film Showcase of seven short films from the community will follow.
The awards ceremony will honor Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Picture of 2023. The event will conclude with more networking. An After Party will be held at the Ale House next door. Dress to impress, bring your holiday spirit, and enjoy the red carpet. Full Sail Live is located at 141 University Park Drive, Winter Park, Florida.
Today, OIF numbers about 10,000 members and provides opportunities for local independent filmmakers, crew, and talent; to connect, gain hands-on experience, build résumé credits, grow and showcase their productions on the big screen with grandeur!
OIF Studio is the public-facing extension of the Organization of Independent Filmmakers (OIF), an association of film industry professionals and enthusiasts.
The group was founded in 2016 by Lenny and Tzvia Lorusso, a couple that was looking for a way to break into filmmaking. Initially, there were only 5 members, collected via a local Craigslist post. Since then, OIF has grown to screen hundreds of local films at commercial theaters, with thousands having attended.
