FilmGate Miami Presents: FilmGate Best-of-the-Fest 2023-Best Shorts of 2023. FilmGate Miami is a non-profit organization that's goal is to ensure the empowerment and growth of local creators and talent. Providing them with a platform in which they can showcase their art, reaching new audiences locally and internationally. FilmGate Festival is a monthly film festival that has a different theme each month.
On Tuesday, November 28 from 6:30-9:30pm EST at Silverspot Cinema in Downtown Miami (300 Southeast 3rd Street, Miami, 33131) all the previous winners of past monthly editions will be showcased. Previous monthly winners will be competing for an array of awards including the coveted Pink Crystal Kraken Award. Join them before the screening for networking with fellow film creatives, grab a drink, some grub and start mingling. After the screenings, the judges will discuss the films and filmmakers are invited for a Q and A session to discuss their creative process. At the end, a presentation of Awards will commence.
