FFF: Springfield Doc Sells Out Two Festival Shows
(released 4/17/2012)

A local documentary film has sold out two shows at the Florida Film Festival this year.  That doc is An Affair of the Heart.  It was directed by local Emmy Award winning Sylvia Caminer and produced by local publicist turned producer Melanie Lentz-Janney.

Their story is about Rick Springfield.  He is best known for his hit single Jesse's Girl from 1981 and as a boy from that time, I clearly remember ALL the girls adoring him.  When I say adore, I mean kissing his posters on the wall. That same adoration has kept fans flocking to his concerts.

The movie had its premiere on Saturday, April 14th at the festival, but this screening will actually have Rick Springfield attending for a Q&A.  An Affair of the Heart screens at 9:30pm on Thursday, April 19th at the Enzian Theater.

If that isn't enough Rick Springfield for you, he is making a stop at The Plaza Live Theatre for a concert on Friday, April 20th.  Tickets are available at www.plazaliveorlando.com/.
