The Valencia Film Celebration is kicking off this February 16th and 17th, 2012. The annual event will host two nights of films with orchestra music, dancers, DJ, and bands opening and entertaining throughout the sessions. Following each night’s film presentation will be an opportunity for Q&A with the presented filmmakers.
Thursday night's films are shorts The Journal, Moments Like These, Welcome Home, Blue Line, trailers, an intermission with Blood Eagle, and the feature film My Fair Lidy. On Friday, the schedule includes the shorts Take One, Thomas Sterling, Cole, Spacegrass, and then an intermission followed by the feature film Return of the Loch Ness Monster From Outer Space.
The showings are free to Valencia students, $5.00 general admission and will be held in the Performing Arts Center on their East Campus. The East Campus Performing Arts Center is located at 701 N. Econlockhatchee Trail in Orlando.
