Happy Hour Wins October Enzian Film Slam
(released 10/12/2011)

That's a wrap for the Film Slam in 2011.  Tim Anderson completed his first full year as host and programmer.  Tim is the third host of the local short film competition and screening series.  New this year, Tim brought in Jen Vargas and Jay De Los Santos to assist.  Together, they brought the Film Slam in the social media world by promoting the events on Facebook and Twitter with messages and photos.

That brings us to the announcement of the October winner by audience voting... Happy Hour.  Dan Drescher directed and produced it.  Drescher also co-wrote with Kelsey Norris.

Here is the Happy Hour teaser.

Bringing up second place was Father of the Date by Mitchell Blankman and third place was Simulation of Life by Michael C. Seils.

By winning, Happy Hour has a chance at screening at the Brouhaha Film & Video Showcase in November and if that goes well, a chance at the Florida Film Festival in the spring.
