Vero Beach Film Festival Runs June 7 - 11
(released 4/25/2023)

The Vero Beach Film Festival celebrates independent filmmaking from June 7th to 11th, 2023. The non-profit arts organization serves the community culturally and economically. "We love film because it introduces us to new places, touches our hearts, and can help us to find solutions in these challenging times." reads the festival about page.

Films this year include:

Salvatore: Shoemaker of Dreams directed by Luca Guaadagino (Call Me by Your Name). Known as "shoemaker" to the stars, Salvatore Ferragamo began making shoes as a teenager. The film has commentary from Martin Scorsese, Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin and Wanda Ferragamo. This film will give you insight into the man, vision, craftsmanship, passion, and influence.

Notre-Dame On Fire is a film by Jean-Jacques Annaud. The film is a blow-by-blow reaction of the events that took place April 15, 2019, when the cathedral suffered the biggest blaze in its history. See the heroic men and women who put their lives on the line to rescue others.

This festival also has a wine and food element to its schedule.
