Miami Short Film Festival is a three day festival of short films. The goal of the festival is to promote up and coming filmmakers. This year the 21st annual event will be held November 11, 12, and 13. Venues include Deering Estate, Miami Beach Bandshell, and O Cinema.
MiamisFF showcases films 1-20 minutes in length and submissions come from around the world giving the program of films an international scope. The festival was founded 20 years ago by William Vela who was a shorts filmmaker with a dream. Vela continues to be involved in all aspects of the festival as Executive Director / Director of Programming.
