Recount Premiere Screening in Jax on Wednesday

HBO, Comcast, and the Jacksonville Office of Film & Television are holding a premiere of the made for television movie Recount. The invitation only event is being held at The Florida Theatre on Wednesday, May 14th.
The film shot last year in Jacksonville and Tallahassee. Just prior to production, Orlando was being scouted as a location and quite a stir was created after it was dropped. Another setback to production was Sydney Pollack pulling out as director due to illness.
The film will be broadcast on HBO beginning May 25th.
Director and executive producer Jay Roach, actor Bruce McGill, executive producer and Emmy winner Paula Weinstein, HBO Films senior vice president and executive producer, Len Amato, writer Danny Strong, and producer Michael Hausman are scheduled to attend.
Starring in the film are Kevin Spacey, Bob Balaban, Ed Begley, Jr., Laura Dern, John Hurt, and Dennis Leary.
