MEREDITH BARTMON is a South Florida based actress who has been working on a professional basis since 2009.
Meredith trained as an actress in Miami, London and New York. She obtained an MA in Acting from East 15 Acting School in East London and is a proud member of UK Equity (Student). During the year long period she was based in London, she worked with some of the most exciting emerging theatre artists in the UK, such as; James Harper (The Bush Theatre Bazaar), Brendan Riding (West End Front Productions) and Ed Harris (Sony Award Winning Playwright).
She obtained a BFA from New World School of the Arts in Miami, with highest honors. Meredith has worked with some of the best theatres in Florida including Florida Stage, The Wick Theatre, Mosaic Theatre, Florida Studio Theatre, Alliance Theatre Lab, Slow Burn Theatre, Naked Stage and Broward Stage Door. She has also toured nationally with Missoula Children’s Theatre.
Meredith has been praised as both an actress and a singer. In 2008, while participating in the American Theatre Wing’s highly selective SpringboardNYC program, David Caparelliotis (Casting Director at the Manhattan Theatre Club), called her a “true character woman” and in 2010, her singing was described as “shimmeringly beautiful” by Miami theatre critic, Christine Dolen. Meredith is now expanding into film, television and voice over by merging her world-class training with curiosity, joy and determination.
